Rambuster

I have searched, but the thread that i have found did not disclose how to do it, but everyone was sent a PM as it was kept secret. I was hoping to see the pictures of how to do it as well.

I will try another seach but if anyone could direct me I would be grateful.

Thanks

I remember seeing that thread as well, but instructions were only given by PM.

Could someone PM me as well ?

I would love to know.

Thanks in advance.

The post in the thread that gave the detailed explaination seems to be gone. there's still one there that says pretty much all there is to say. Nothing really that needs to be said, if you think about the matter a bit:

- the controls are inside the arm rest (of course not inside the arm rest that houses the tray table -- the other one)

- there's a hidden switch to remove the cover of the arm rest

- operating the manual controls allows to manually move the foot rest and seat back (now, that's something nobody would have thought...)

- before doing any of this, move your seat into the "sleeping" position.

What else:

- Don't do this in plain sight of the FAs

- it's hard to see the difference between the manipulated fully flat sleep position and the normal slanted sleep position by just walking by. So: Don't to the manipulation in plain sight of the FAs. Wait until the cabin lights are dimmed and the FAs have retreated into the galleys and crewrests.

- You can lower the back rest on all other seats as well, thereby avoiding the "slide-down-syndrome".

HTB.

I wonder what could possibly happen, if a FA would notice this "manipulation"?
I've never tried it, but I wonder, why the FA would mind. You're not destroying anything, right?
I'll try next week, if I remember then how to do it.

I just don't think you want to draw any attention. Once this "trick" is in the focus of LH's management, the FAs may be instructed to be vigilent, spoiling the fun for all.

I can only re-emphasize the importance of moving the seat into sleeping position. otherwise it might freeze and would have to be reset manually by the crew... ann0ying, especially when you want to sleep ;-)

But it works on all seats, and you can also lift the food rest up on all seats. it is just less space and not quite flat

Does this work on all LH long-haul wide-bodies?
