Intl F access in FRA for UA F passenger connecting to two-cabin J on LH?

Flying on UA metal (LH flt number) from IAD-FRA and then connecting to LH to FCO in J. Please tell me I can access the F lounge in FRA?

And how does the old F config on LH 747 compare to new UA F suite on the 777?

Thanks

We could tell you that, but it would be a lie.

I’m arriving on TG/SQ/etc. F and departing on LH, Swiss, Austrian C do I get in to the F terminal?
- Not unless you hold HON status, otherwise you will have access LH Senator (Star Alliance Gold) lounges airside
(This applies to the FCLs as well as the FCT. F on another carrier = Senator Lounge for you. These are the designated F lounges for *A carriers other than LH group airlines.)

LH's old F has smallish IFE and you won't get the privacy you'd get in UA new F. It's a clearly inferior hard product the UA's suites (this doesn't apply to LH's new F). If you want the superior hard product (you don't care about wine, food or lounges, you just want to be alone and sleeping) and LH new F is not an option, take UA.

LH's soft product blows UA away, so if you do care about this aspect, you want to be on LH. My personal experience was that LH old F was fine for sleeping.

I thought you only get access to the business lounge. They will only let you in the senator lounge if you are departing on UA F not arriving. The OP is *G so he will have access to the senator lounge.

A nice one would be the welcome lounge, UA F arrival entitles you to that place. That beats an UA IFL hands down.

Another vote for the Welcome Lounge (it's landside)

If the flight to LHR is on LH then you get FCT and FCL access.

Correct. But if I may be pedantic arriving in LH F gives access to the FCL regardless of any connecting flight. Access to the FCT if connecting on LH, LX or OS.

I arrived an hour ago and am at the AA Admirals Club as that is open. SEN lounge opens in 1 minute so heading there now. That F thread is so funny I can see myself in 50% of the posts

Can I start a new thread on chances of getting new F even though from the actual master thread there appears to be no chance?

Wait until June when the 748i with the new F and C starts flying between FRA and IAD.
