As far as I understand, this is nothing that can be checked in advanced (yet). It has to be a North America route (so you qualify) but it also depends whether the plane is "Flynet-2 - ready". Can somebody confirm?

I believe it is on the A330 (401/400) to JFK. The aircraft I flew turned to DTW so not 100 percent it is guaranteed for JFK although that is what the FA told me.
The service was pretty good. I didn't try to stream video but it was fast enough for normal websites although slower than what you would expect on the ground.
