highly doubt it. AFAIK it is in fact a DL fare-It seems very odd that it allows *A at all

That's like asking if you could book UA for a AA fare across the Atlantic. Its a DL fare, some portion (TATL is this case) has to be DL else it won't book as a DL fare. I'm sure UA would sell you a ticket for 10x the price.

Thanks, as you can see I am not as experienced as you probably are hence the question......it was a straight question and I got the answer below. I know what UA or any other airline would charge me......no need to get upset or personal.

cheers.

I'm going at Thanksgiving too. Many thanks to tracon for the find, and to the other contributors for helping work out the details.

This also routes DPS-SQ-ICN & DPS-SQ-NRT(A380) and *A back to CDG.
NRT was slightly cheaper.

is there anyway to add a stopover in this JFK-DPS fare? maybe in HKG, or maybe in CDG?

Anything greater than 24 hours there will result in paying a huge premium in the premium fare.

What dates? Looks like ill only have 2 1/2 days in Bali but thats fine with me, I can get a nicer place for a shorter trip. Plus, having been there before, I don't necessarily need to sight-see.

Ok, so I've perfected my routing via ITA. Can anyone recommend a TA?

DL1384 LGA-BOS MD80
DL8303 BOS-CDG opby AF A340
AF994 CDG-JNB B777 - 22h in JNB
QF304 JNB-PER opby SA A340 - 20h in PER
QF1074 PER-BME B737
QF2670 BME-KNX-DRW opby TL ER7 (all-Y)
QF273 DRW-DPS opby JQ A320 (all-Y)
JL270 DPS-NRT B767
SU576 NRT-SVO A330 - 19h in SVO
AY154 SVO-HEL A320 - 22h in HEL
AF1099 HEL-CDG opby AY A320 - 23h in CDG
DL8578 CDG-EWR opby AF A330
DL147 EWR-ATL B757
DL1980 ATL-DCA B737 - overnight in DCA
DL6766 DCA-EWR CR9

The QF YQs are costly ($220) and there is a bit of a surcharge for being over MPM, but the total is $2621.
