Thanks have booked JFK-DPS-JFK on xpeedya com via HK for USD1,962. All dates seemed to be available once you insert CDG both ways on multicity.

Great way of getting to/from Australia for those of us collecting on Skyteam and QF.

Edit - ticket issued within 45 minutes, DL 006 stock

I just did it as a simple roundtrip.
As for getting around the 5 segments, try CDG-DPS or JFK-HKG.

Can anyone make this work with *A?

At one point, it came up on SQ from DPS-SIN-CDG.
The SIN-CDG is on the whale

Thank you!

Thanks to tracon for posting this fare. Just booked for 2 over thanksgiving, from the city that never sleeps to Kuta beach, via the champs-Elysee and the successor to kai tak, for around $3800 (a/i, r/t, 2 pax). Fare does not pull up on kayak, orbitz, or ita, and dl.com will not permit the search, but ticket is issued on dl 06 stock. Can't find the fare rules yet, but booking class is C.

Best. Fare. Ever.

Do. Not. Call.

I like CX's late afternoon flight, or SQ's 1pm.
TG's will depend if it's on a 777 or Airbus. Go for the 777.
I have no reason to doubt you, but unless I am wrong, by my calculations, if one is a Delta Air Lines SkyMiles member, one can earn both 34,255 SkyMiles and Medallion Qualification Miles on the itinerary I posted earlier in this thread.

The only exception is the flight segment via Garuda Indonesia, and even if one is a Northwest WorldPerks member, earning partner miles on Garuda Indonesia has been suspended indefinitely.

Not true, it does pull up on orbitz. Its just not as easy. Try using only 4 segments.

Not only will Star Alliance members earn miles on this itinerary, but so will Delta Air Lines SkyMiles members.

The problem with this itinerary for Delta Air Lines SkyMiles members, however, is that Medallion Qualification Miles cannot be earned towards Medallion elite status.

Uh, not to be the buzz-killer, but that says Coach. I don't do Coach. But to answer my original question, in your OP, you left out the (-SIN) on the outbound routing, which had me confused.

Total Cost: $1,960.50

Couple of questions:

1. I can confirm all legs on each airlines respective website except Thai from DPS-BKK, should I be concerned.

2. The entire itinerary comes up under my DL.com account EXCEPT the Thai leg (even the non-skyteam CX leg). Should I be concerned?

3. I entered my First, Middle, and Last name on expedia when booking. When I pull up on my DL.com account (and on AF.com for that matter) the website shows FirstMiddle, Last. Is that going to cause me any problem with my skymiles account and earning miles?
Never booked a trip like this on multiple airlines on Expedia. I want the flights be credited to my NW account. Will I get the 50% EQM even though I still don't know what fare class listed on the itinerary?

Can anyone get this to price out on co.com at all? I need to use an electronic credit, so I can't do it on a 3rd party site...
