Thought everybody here has a lot of accounts - if not: create one - takes only a minute.

That's true, probably 1-2 dozen accounts for the average poster here, lol.

You don't actually need an LH account. My booking reference and last name were sufficient.

Perhaps we are going to find even stranger things about SN ..

Austrian wasn't much help in reserving seats, but it was flattering: it has me listed as travelling in First

Cool - I think I will switch to Austrian, too. Perhaps they add some rows in the front until the flight date ...

I have never booked such an error fare before - when will it be safe that they don't cancel it - so that I can book connecting flights to Goa?

I mean: normally they have to cancel it immediately after they noticed the error. They noticed it yesterday when they changed the rate. Or not?

Lufthansa owns 45% of SN: not quite as close as the German company's relationship with SWISS and Austrian. But close enough ...

LX/OS/LH/SN use the same reservation system and the websites are set up to access and edit each others reservations. No need to sign up.

But I think only LH gives the seat reservation facility across the board. SWISS doesn't: though I take comfort in the promise that:

Special surprise

Special surprise is not available for this flight.

What is that, boarding denied at the gate? I am glad it is not available, lol.

The NY Times put up a nice article on what to do in BOM: http://nyti.ms/2dGSGIC

I must admit that even after living there for more than 6 years I normally cannot come up with more than a days activity.

The main attraction is excellent food at reasonable prices as far as I'm concerned.
