[PREM FARE GONE] Hu: Lax csx 1300usd - ?.??cpm
Surprised hasn't been posted here before. Searched but couldn't find it.
2x weekly. 787
Books into R class, but this is first as per AS, but 787 only has J.
So if anyone has flown this, how did it credit? Or if anyone has experience / knowledge of how this'll credit, please chime in.
Big difference in mileage earning R vs I class.

I think so, you can dig it up in AS forum...
If the R business cabin does not earn 200% mileage, how much would you earn? 0%? 100%?
I think how much you earn is based on the fare class, not the cabin. I could be wrong though.

Anyway, he took SEA-PVG flight, which was a A332 with only Biz and Eco seatings, which confirms what I mentioned above.

I hope it posts as 100% bonus as I was hoping to finish off my push to maintain MVPG with this one last trip since the price is not much more than my AA MCE trips to HKG. I just booked for 3/31/16 - 4/4/16. now I'm in a rush to renew my passport and get the china visa. I'm hoping the mileage thing was not just a glitch that was fixed as id hate for this earn 0 miles like the discount AM J flights booked into I

HU: J LAX-CSX ~$1345 ai
Looks like Hainan, which can be credited to Alaska's program is offering this awesome fare. The one segment alone gives you MVP status. But what I have trouble with is getting a visa to China. The process seems arduous, and I just don't know how to do it. I don't feel comfortable sending my passport away. I'd really love to book this fare, but without a visa it looks to be impossible. Do you need a visa if you're stay is shorter than 72 hours while you are there?

fyi, Changsha doesn't show up under TWOV eligible airport in TIMATIC
While the Changsha government's website say that they are TWOV eligible (http://en.changsha.gov.cn/news/Local...19_841850.html) and that they will let transit people enter, airlines probably won't board you without TIMATIC update.
