I need 5200 miles by year end. I attempted to find a low cost mileage run starting and ending in DEN on UA preferably around 12/12-12/14 without much success. I looked at essentially cross country flights using ITA Software (e.g. DEN - NYC - SFO - DEN, DEN - BOS - IAH - LAX - DEN). All the routes I looked at were coming up thousands of dollars. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Quick turnaround (1 hr 18 min) Denver to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Passport not needed

Lucky - cheapest day is Dec 12 DEN-BQN RT $525 for 6378 miles, 8 cpm

I checked both Kayak and ITASoftware and neither has any flights from DEN to BQN on UA....

Anchorage is still a possibility.

Any other suggestions?

Try UA directly- just looked, DEN to BQN on UA metal is still there Dec 12, for 6378 miles through EWR both ways, although $600 now.

Dec 16 is cheaper at $566 and more miles, 7694 - DEN-IAH-EWR-BQN-EWR-IAH-DEN.

Don't know why, but Kayak and ITA may not be listing DEN-BQN-UA on UA metal because of the quick 1hr 18 minute turnaround. Try the easiest - UA website

If you can use SDC for free for Dec 12 RT DEN-BQN, you can increase miles to 7594. Otherwise you can use the UA's multiple-destination search to book Dec 12 BQN-IAH-EWR-BQN-EWR-IAH-DEN for $686.

Dec 12 for $600 (6378 miles) and Dec 16 for $566 (7694miles) does not require any special search engines.

I just booked LAX-EWR-BQN-EWR-LAX on UA for a total of 8078 pqm on Dec. 12/13 for $581...
