No. If you don't start in CMB then at DFW the ticket wont be valid.

Booked 1 RT, thanks!
Also want to book Jan's flights, ITA shows that, but no where allows 330 days+ booking?

Well it is a First Class Fare with free cancelation and is pricing as 2 one ways at booking. So shouldn't one of those one way fares be able to be refunded and canceled?

Expedia showing OW @ $971 CMB-DWF. If you're going to have to position anyway, may as well save $470...

But they could negotiate with the other airlines so O fares earn less or no miles I guess.

Thanks, booked a one-way trip from CMB to DFW. Will probably combine with an Asian or MLE trip!

You can book the CMB-DFW as a one-way fare. But most (nearly all, really) international fares are asymmetrical; you cannot simply start at the "other" end.

This is only a round trip fare ex-CMB, or a one way fare ex-CMB. Nothing available at this price ex-DFW.
sbm12 is correct.

So, I'm a noob but what is the purpose of this itinerary? You guys are going to fly to Sri Lanka just to fly this fare?
