I see $170 DCA-X-BOS in Feb, which gives 2-3kPQM with status on UA. ($152 on US, but only ~800PQM.) There's been a lot of posts recently for MRs from BOS, so this might give you some interesting options.
For less interesting domestic options, BWI is another cheaper airport. I am doing BWI-LAS next weekend, $228 ~5900PQM @ 3.9cpm; others have fared even better on the same route.

BWI to anywhere is a popular combo throughout the year. SAN and LAS are common destinations year round. Out of IAD or DCA, the best runs are probably PDX and ANC although I caught a great one to PHX. Flip through the old threads in this forum and you'll see some routes that may pop up again this year.

LIT and OMA
I forgot these two:
$189 DCA-IAH-LIT rt 3104mi 6.1cpm GA7FN
$215 DCA-IAH-OMA rt 3978mi 5.4cpm GA7FN
Not the best cpm, but lots of availability on weekends Jan/Feb for same-day turn. These are G-fares, we will probably need to wait a while to see N-fares (maybe Nov).

as usual IAD-LAX/SFO r/t runs can be purchased for $270 in February, BWI to LAS still got some seats , HNL and ANC is in $650+ category, but hopefully price will go down as eqm is pretty high and can be done in 24 hours

Yeah, that's pretty awful...
You're much better off taking a train (or bus) up to BWI or PHL and getting some deals there - I did a lot of those last year to finish up my 1K qualifying from steps (literally) to DCA, but since the cheapest deals weren't from here, I went elsewhere.
I did quite a few of the ~US$130 turns in LAS, five trips last year to PDX, a few to SAN/CLD, two to ANC and one to SNA & SEA.
There aren't many deals from DCA, and if there is something great, you'll read tons of posts in the normal MR forum, so no real need to do any digging - there simply isn't great MR-worthy fares from DCA on UA.

You may be interested to know that the inexpensive MARC commuter train from Washington to BWI ($6 one-way) now operates on weekends as well as weekdays, though the weekend schedule is much reduced, especially Sundays.
