US: Germany - BOS/NYC starting at 206E (~$286) all in.

This has been available for a while and somehow discussed/noted in various threads but I believe it is time for a dedicated thread. If I overlooked something please merge!

What?
US has round trips from Germany to US East Coast cities in January/February for cheap. Sunday rule applies.

How to book?
To book this go to usairways.com and select Germany on the bottom of the page and then proceed as usual.

Origins
Valid origins appear to be all airports that have Lufthansa codeshare flights to bring you to FRA/MUC for flights on US metal over the pond to CLT or PHL. Note that some flights are on B767s while some are on A330s.
Trips that do not need a domestic positioning flight in Germany (i.e. from MUC) are cheaper than those from i.e. HAM, HAJ, TXL.

Destinations
Valid destinations are NYC (turns into LGA) and BOS. Other destinations are available for slightly higher prices.

Miles etc
The trip books into K class which earns 100% miles on Miles&More.

Nice fares. I also noticed another cut on their DUB fares:

DUB-DCA for $224 a/i, 01/16 - 01/17.

These fares look really good to me and I'd like to purchase 5 of these to make UA Prem Exex but i noticed that they "only" net 8058 miles and I'd need 10000 each if I want to make UA PremExec with 5 flights.
I've never done a MR before and don't have a clue about routings. Anyone kind enough to help me out a little?

Or you could just buy 6 , that would almost do it.

Absolutely, but that wouldn't be a challenge, would it?

How can I find out if it's allowed to add some stopovers in order to increase mileage?

Have booked two tickets, one to LGA and one to ORD with a feeder flights from DUS to FRA and MUC.

The LH flights out of DUS to either MUC or FRA (and vice versa) books into S, while the US segments books into K.

CGN and FDH don't seem to work. So propably only codeshares for connecting flights.

How much time is needed in PHL for immigration?

Yes, indeed only the LH / US codeshares.

The last time, PHL was quite fast for me and I was able to get on the earlier flight to LGA.

However, I have no idea about the minimum connecting time in PHL.

Thought I'd add my two Deutsch Marks worth . . .

Does not seem to work on the reverse. I know us US-based people get greedy whenever we see a Europe-USA MR (which, of course, we should not, because the ex-Europe folks get so, so, little), but, I thought I'd try anyway.

Nice find to the OP!

Seems to be 75 minutes, international to domestic. Though IMHO 75 minutes is very tight.

THAT'S what they're called! (Couldn't remember from my one semester of college German at 8am three times a week).

I'm based in Germany and would like to take advantage of this offer but don't have a credit card! Just got off the phone with US Airways Germany and was told that there is an additional charge of 45 Euros per ticket if you pay for your ticket at the airport! Is there any way I can purchase these tickets without paying 45 Euros / ticket and without owning a credit card?
Travel agent perhaps? I'm looking to get 5-6 of these for me and friends.

It's seldom a good idea to call an airline while the deal is in play. I suggest hurrying over to a local travel agent and trying to make an arrangement. Time is most likely of the essence, especially now.
