UA: BOS-XIY, ~$700 all in during Independence Day week
Looks like UA is trying very hard to promote its seasonal XIY route.
Found this interesting fare on United's website - BOS-EWR/SFO/ORD/LAX-PVG-XIY for the outbound during the last two weeks of June and return XIY-SFO-BOS on or before July 4 (Tuesday).
G class on UA metal
V class on Juneyao Airlines's late night PVG-XIY flight (ineligible for MP accrual)
~$700 all in; not bad for a mid-summer roundtrip from Boston to China.
