Found this a couple days ago while looking for an EOTY mileage run ex-SFO.
SFO<->TPE $531 for min. of 3 days.
I'm squeezing this in as an extra work-related vendor trip I didn't think I would be able to make, so I did not spend a whole lot of time hacking the routing on this, looking for extra segments, etc. I actually DO want to be there for a few days, so for me a pair of non-stops works.
I booked:
11/17-11/22
UA 871/872
Availability through early Dec. 12/6, after that, it spikes to $1100/1200.

Well you know, most Taiwan students back home for winter vacation in mid Dec so the price gonna go up like hell. Works same as flights from US to Mainland China, Korea...etc.
