Smile Am: Nyc -scl $272rt

First post, so apologies if I mess it up - but seeing fares from NYC-SCL for $272RT. Fares also available for 320 to EZE. Saw the fare available Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb/Mar using the Kayak calendar.

Booked but hasn't ticketed yet, hoping some DL elites may get value out of it.

https://www.kayak.com/flights/NYC-SC...-03-12/2adults

Hope it works!

We posted that a few hours ago. It's cheapest from LAX ($208) to SCL. Works all the way into June.

LAX-PTY is $149.

LAX-LIM as low as $241 (but much fewer dates).

Also available from YVR and YYZ. YVR-GUA/PTY is about $175-200.

For those looking to get a J ticket for cheap, you can bid for an upgrade starting at $315 up to $700. You can get 787 all the way as well from LAX.

Booked an LAX-SCL in late May for $208. I have the 787 for 3/4 legs as well. Now I am debating on keeping the flight, as I will be arriving in the winter and I am now thinking if I will be able to get the most of my time there.

What dates were you seeing EZE in the 300s? Looking for it but can't find it !

Well screw it. Booked 8 days LAX SCL in May like the above poster. Probably use it as an opportunity to visit Iguazu Falls 😀👍

For any Alaska elites: I was seeing some E class (100%) out of NYC December 9 returning a few days later also E class, I believe it was $590. Really good fare for MVP Gold or 75K

I booked JFK-SCL in March for a week for $272. Went down there same time a couple years ago, end of their summer vacation. Other ideas to connect from SCL: easter islands, patagonia (punta arenas), Atacama Desert

I booked an SFO-SCL for $207.76 but had to cancel because I couldn't get time off work. Website wouldn't let me cancel so I had to call in. Imagine my surprise when the refund receipt came through for a refund of $415.52.

Keep us updated. Usually cancellations under 24 hours don't even post if if's not processed. My only worry is getting charged $415.52 instead of $207.76...

Interestingly I went to select my seats today on the airline's site since Orbitz told me they couldn't confirm my seat requests and I saw that the fare on the airline's site was higher then the amount I paid on Orbitz. So maybe that has something to do with it.

Generally speaking, I've only had the proper amount paid refunded to me, even when the websites/emails say differently. It needs to be manually processed because the original price was mistakenly quoted and just doesn't go through without an agent investigating. This was the case with the PDL SATA fares.

Per this article in Travel & Leisure, it doesn't sound like these AeroMexico fares were a mistake. Who knows?
