AC: Was-hkg $587 ai

Subject says it all... Found via ITA (i'm sure tfd or someone will steal)

WAS-YYZ-HKG-YYZ-WAS
$647 on ita, am able to replicate for $587 on justfly. A tad higher but still below $647 on several other OTAs.
Sample dates: Nov 26-Dec 1
wide open dates (May 1 to May 19, Aug 15 to Dec 11)

One thing to note that flying AC in this case is in their bone crushing high density economy seating

Yes it is AC, and I don't think this earns full mileage. But still very cheap. As I predicted in my email, TFD ripped this off . Do they ever credit FT?

I'm based in Toronto, so do I have to take the original flight from WAS to YYZ? I think I do, but would like some confirmation. Thanks.

Yes, never skip the first leg. If you miss a leg, the airline will cancel your entire ticket.

Isn't that only for the YVR-HKG flight (10 seats abreast, 17" seat width, 31" seat pitch)?
I believe the YYZ-HKG flight has 9 seats abreast, 18.5" seat width, 32" seat pitch.

This is incorrect.

On YVR-HKG, AC fly the 777W-HD (the plane you mean, known as the "slave ship") which they use mainly on long-haul TATL and shorter TPAC routes of 6-12 hrs.

On YYZ-HKG, AC fly the 77L, which is the older and considerably less punishing layout they use for ultra-long-haul routes of 12-16 hrs.

This is the 77W-HD, with a 3-4-3 layout, 31" x 17" seats.

This is the 77L, with a 3-3-3- layout, 32" x 18.5" seats.
