Fare hunting
I went by the MH ticket office downtown Singapore today to ask about this fare, the two ladies had no idea about it. I tried to ask about it in many different ways to get the best information. I asked if the cost of a ticket was the same price online as at the ticket office, she replied it was. She said maybe you're thinking of a full fare, day of departure business class upgrade fare, no again, I clearly mentioned Oneworld elite promotion fare and several times, as they say here in Singapore, catch no ball. The lowest fare they could quote me to KUL was $50 each way, 3 day advanced purchase restricted fare, that fare is for 1 flight a day, 12:20 departure.
Next stop Singapore airport MH ticket counter. I asked 2 or 3 times the same way, I was stopped immediately with, we sell only counter fares here, around $250 one way. I mentioned Oneworld elite and counter only fare. It wasn't my day.
