I'm not seeing $505, but lots of dates for $596 on DL.com (I looked Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr 1 week stays)

I think the question is:
If I bought 6 or 7 of these round trips for myself, to get to diamond on MQM, I would still have to pay a lot of money for pricier tickets to get the money-matching side, or I would have to use one of Delta's ways to avoid the money-matching side.
Correct?
And what are the methods I have to use to get to Diamond on THESE fares as my ONLY MQM? (Using no expensive fares)

I did not purchase the ticket. However, I did not have any problems for selecting the flights on delta.com, e.g. 3/03/15 (DL4062/DL281)-3/09/15 (DL282/DL588/DL3858) for 596CAD.

Hey! It looks like we're on the same outbound! I booked when this deal first came up a few weeks ago. I'm on the same YYZ-MSP-SEA-HKG leg I believe.
DL5140, DL2193, and DL281? Also using Avios, to fly from ORD. 4,500 each way.
