If one uses this as a platinum challenge run note that YYC-DFW-LHR gets 6,260/2=3,130 EQP's. LHR-HND gets 5,960 EQP's. The HND-SIN flight (3,290) puts you over the top for EQP's required for the challenge and all flights thereafter as platinum (can you print out proof to get lounge access???).

RDM-wise if you started with zero you'd get 6,260+5,960+3,290(x2??? as the flight that makes you platinum also gets double miles???)+18,030x2 for the rest if you only went back to Boston (again via HND).

Or a total of 12,220+6,580+36,060=54,860 yielding a cpm on the first run starting with no status of something around 2.6 cpm

Please check my math

I believe a smarter way to do this ex-DFW is to begin in Boston and end in YYC tho as you'd only need a one way to BOS to begin and can hop off at the end. Still land in SIN with platinum status and about same price.

ex-HNL runs can be done around $1,800 with around 40,000 flown miles or so with starting or ending somewhere in Canada (as low as 2.25 cpm or so if plat at start). Worst case you'd be 45 EQP's short of platinum when you land in HND (If you went HNL-LAX-LHR w/2 nonstops). I'm sure you can find a way to not be (tho haven't looked yet) such as ex-OGG or via SFO or DFW or LAX-LHR w/a connection???

Arrive in HND as a platinum member ($1,918)

HNL-DFW-LHR 8,510/2 = 4,255 EQP
LHR-HND 5,960 EQP (10,215 EQP tot HNL-HND)

RDM's 4,255+5960(x2???)+22,430x2 for remainder (even more if YYC via DFW but price goes to $2,012 - YVR via dfw FOR $2,016).

61,035RDM/2.94cpm starting with NO status
73,800RDM/2.6cpm starting as platinum

AS is pretty sticky when it comes to codeshares. It most likely doesn't earn any points on the QF operated. Playing around with ITA it looks like if you use BA15/16 which is LHR/SYD via SIN It will put everything on BA metal except the short hops SYD/MEL

I do worry a little about the connection times. 2 hours in MEL that and 90 min in SYD on the way over

I'd worry more about DVT doing a 2 hour turn in Y.
