BCN/MAD-SYD for less than 650€ with BA

Great deal to Australia from Spain, with fares from 648€ if bought through BA, or less with other OTAs

FYI, it is a BCN-SIN fare combined with a SIN-SYD fare, meaning you can stopover in SIN as long as you wish for a total price of ~660€. https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...CN1BA2708;a=BA

From what I saw, it books in N, V, S buckets.

Thanks very much. I'm looking into this as a serious option now.

Typical, saw this just after booking with Etihad!

Having said that, the price jumps to over £600 for an April return, so not so suitable for me anyway.

Looks like a good deal for anyone wanting to catch part of the Cricket World Cup.

This stopover in SIN makes it an even more amazing deal!

BCN isn't the only possible option.
Lots of European cities can be combined for a few more euros ^

Does it accrue EQMs on AA?

http://aa.com/britishairways will tell you that the answer is YES. Only earns 0.5 EQP per mile, though.

Good find. Bases are BA NNCSALE BCNSIN and BA NSALESG SINSYD.

NNCSALE—
Some time in July is blocked off and
"TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 15SEP14 AND ON/BEFORE
30SEP14."

NSALESG—
"VALID FOR TRAVEL COMMENCING ON/AFTER 09SEP14 AND ON/
BEFORE 31MAR15."
"TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 09SEP14 AND ON/BEFORE
30SEP14."

Can post full rules if anyone is interested.

Interesting, looks like these fare classes would earn 100% on US Airways:
http://www.usairways.com/en-US/divid...shAirways.html

Eventually, the US and AA programs will merge

Makes this a tempting MR for early in the new year.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (BB10; Touch) AppleWebKit/537.35+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.2.1.3247 Mobile Safari/537.35+)

For those UK based flyers looking at this you can book BCN-SYD-LHR/LCY-AGP should you wish to accidentally miss the last segment.

It will earn 100% EQM and 100% RDM on AAdvantage too...it's just the EQPs that will earn at 50% of miles flown.

I'd use a flight out of LGW. Saves a few more taxes.

If someone fancies WTP on the return flight out of SIN, then an OJ to DUB is your choice of destination for EUR879.18 return. Add EUR26.17 if you like to pause your journey in LHR for more than 24hrs.
