[FARE GONE] DL:YYZ-HKG-YYZ $700 (or less), <4.0CPM, over 18000mi via ATL/SEA

Surprised this one hasn't been posted here yet...

YYZ-HKG-YYZ via DTW/SEA, MSP/SEA, ATL/SEA for $700USD or less (seen as low as $644), outbound before May 24 or after August 15, minimum 3 days, maximum 12 months. V class fare, stopovers @ $100.

Depending on routing, less than 4.0CPM can be achieved.

Great find!! Would want to book trips after Aug 15, but plan to credit miles to AS.. Should I worry about divorce between AS and DL anytime soon?

I am not too sure why it did happen, but matrix, or hipmunk doesn't show $700ish... Delta.com does, and i find deals throughly Oct, Nov, Dec. Want United to match this deal asap!

ETA: See some on DL.com in Sept for $763, YYZ-FK-SEA-HKG, same return. About 4.05cpm. Pretty nice, especially with a successful global.

Well to be fair, Sokolov did post a DL YHZ - HKG in the good deals thread before you.

This deal was first posted on RFD early yesterday morning. It involves more departure cities than just YYZ, but also YUL, YOW, YQB and YHZ as well. Depending on your city of departure some of these fares were available in May, and also August through November.

Force ITA to price only V class fares and you'll find lots of availability in May, Sep-Nov.

3.8cpm and just under 20K MQMs easy to find. I didn't spend a lot of time to push it, so you can probably do better than this.

What exactly is the point of searching for "lowest CPM fares" on DL, when elite status is dependent on spend? Are you guys just looking to collect miles, not status?

Just curious.

The min spending requirement is, for the moment, still easily overcome using a DL co-branded AMEX card if you live in the States and not an issue if you don't.

Two flights to JNB in business and one's MQD could be met. One would still need to collect a significant number of MQMs.

Or, that waiver thing.
