Avianca has LAX-LIM via SAL for $298.24. 8,503 miles = 3.5cpm. Lots of availability. Books into T which earns 50% on United. Don't know if there's a better program to credit to.

Yeah if you hate yourself, you can fly LAX-GUA-SJO-LIM-SCL r/t on LACSA for $291 for a ridiculous 11,671 miles or 2.5 cpm.
EDIT: I did find a much more reasonable LAX-SAL-LIM-SCL route on Avianca for $284.50 for 11,552 miles. Maybe I should split this route into another thread?

not sure if the LIM departure fee is included in this fare. Otherwise, be prepared to pay $30 USD to depart from Lima.

Thanks OP(s)
LAX-LIM $298; less miles, but better availability, quick layovers, and no retribution tax for US Citizens.
Though I've never tried an MR via SCL airport. Perhaps a quick turn may avoid the tax?
