I did this run last year in Dec for around $130. It was last miles I needed to get 1K.
Even got a bump.
Original MKE-ORD-SFO-PHX ended up with $200 voucher and MKE-ORD-PHX, I did get original routing.
You can even do this arriving at 1am and leaving at 6am. United club opens up at 4:30am and I was just going to stay at gate area from 1am to 6am. I ended up at club until it closed and stayed at gate until it re-opened due to earlier arrival.

If the all-in price is $168, you won't get 168 MQD. Taxes and fees don't count for MQD. So is it $168 all-in, or $168++? The former is Flyer Talk standard, and then latter earns 168 MQD.
