  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!
  • Double-check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTAs confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as much detail as possible about the First/Business fare, including: fare class, fare basis, one-way/round-trip, sales channel, sample dates and total price (including taxes).
  • When posting fare rules, please enclose them in a [COÐE][/COÐE] block. Note the use of the eth (Ð) instead of a capital D here to prevent the forum software from trying to insert an actual block. Be sure you use the capital D.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain point of origin, and only very rarely work in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Please include important information such as operating airline, fare classes, city pairs, etc. in the body of your post rather than the post title field as it is not visible to those reading FT on mobile devices. This is not the "trick it" thread. Please do not speak in code.
  • Please do not post large images. Not everyone has infinite resolution, and it makes the rest of the thread very difficult to read. If it's not important enough to type in, it's not important enough to be here.
  • Last but not least: don't call the airline!

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where fares on EI (Aer Lingus) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Aer Lingus does not offer first class. If you see this fare, please ignore it and do not post it here as it is completely unbookable in every sense of the term. The mods are summarily deleting these posts in order to unclutter the thread.

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where Z fares on EY (Etihad) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Z fares are discount business on EY. These fares will not receive chaffeur service. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/etihad-airways-etihad-guest/1622229-removal-chauffeur-service-some-business-class-passengers.html

List of known, active deals:

JNB-DXB-SFO in EK F, $4k-ish one-way
MLE-HKG-US (various) in C, $1400 +/- available only on CX's website.
CMB-MIA, other US cities, for about $4400 in F, round-trip/return

BA AARP $400 discount for J/F bookings is now valid again for booking until 31 Oct 2014 but departure to EOS seems to get the discount. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1435816-ba-fare-discounts-aarp-4.html

Good Deal Premium Fares 2014

Happy 2014! This is the 2014 edition of the 'Good Deals Premium Fares' mega thread.
(A new thread is created each year without clutter from last year's expired sales etc)

Sometimes a F or Biz fare will be posted in the main MR Deals thread, but we created this mega thread so that the fare may be preserved a bit longer, for FTers to have that little extra time before the fare gets pulled. This thread may assist, so subscribe to it or check it for new deals!

This is a continuation of this thread:
Good Deal Premium Fares 2013
Good Deal Premium Fares 2013
Good Deal Premium Fares 2012
Good Deal Premium Fares 2011
Good Deal Premium Fares 2010

Feel free to update this 2014 thread with relevant Good Deal fares in Business, First and Suites classes!

AC DFW-PVG Z Class

Z class in April for about $4650 ai. AC is clearly competing with AA on this route as well as other Asian and Australian connections through Canada.

AC in pods on the YYZ-PVA portions. Great deal but not likely a MR by current definitions.

Still lots of availability throughout the year for less than 1300 euros from ARN to BKK via IST on board TK's business class with a shot at jet airways first class suites on the long haul leg!

Yes there are 2 daily flights BKK-IST, one is with the Jet Airways 77W and the other with an Airbus widebody, A340 I believe, so if you choose the 77W flight and are at the airport early enough, you can get a shot at the first 2 rows which are first class suites :-D

I am considering this flight from ARN during the 2nd half of 2014 if anyone wants a travel buddy!

As the plane is leased from Jet Airways, there is F but TK sells it as C.

So book C and choose the F seats.

Which I believe are sold as TK 68/69.

€1069 ++ = €1639 | ba | ams-hkg-ams

Not super-spectacular - but quite good to be BA and 1 year ticket, and still possible to change return date for €350 penalty....

7 days AP

VCE-LAX BA First RT $4931

This is by no means a great deal but just came across it and thought I'd post as it's a first class fare.

VCE-LHR-LAS-LAX
LAX-ORD-LHR-VCE

BA first class and AA domestic first $4931. 12,597EQM. Available on AA website.

AA: NYC-ICN P-class $3k a/i

This one is still available und UA still still not matching

This is IMO an outstanding fare for F to Korea. Can be routed creatively for extra miles as low as 17 cpm (w/o any COS or Elite bonus). $3.5k from BOS.

If UA had this fare I'd be all over it.

AA is also doing a double miles promo (JPKR1) on DFW-ICN flights.

wow, this could be a hell of a MR since this fare also carries no min. stay restriction 90 day AP is the only restriction I am seeing. Not sure how COS and other addn. boni work on AA but this could be a nice run.

Sorry to be pessimistic but just tried to make a booking for next Feb.
No problem to get the €1.300 fare and select TK 68/69 operated by B777 according to TK website but when you confirm seats on both flights, you'll notice that the flights are operated by an A340-313...

Yes, trying to talk myself into booking some as 4 of these properly routed should requalify one for EXP, with no worrying about upgrades or getting AA's angled-flats in J. AA's 772 F also isn't completely awful, at least in my opinion. COS should be a 50% bonus, add in a 100% EXP or PLT bonus on the flight miles. The double miles promo only runs until the end of February though.
