  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!
  • Double-check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTAs confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as much detail as possible about the First/Business fare, including: fare class, fare basis, one-way/round-trip, sales channel, sample dates and total price (including taxes).
  • When posting fare rules, please enclose them in a [COÐE][/COÐE] block. Note the use of the eth (Ð) instead of a capital D here to prevent the forum software from trying to insert an actual block. Be sure you use the capital D.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain point of origin, and only very rarely work in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Please include important information such as operating airline, fare classes, city pairs, etc. in the body of your post rather than the post title field as it is not visible to those reading FT on mobile devices. This is not the "trick it" thread. Please do not speak in code.
  • Please do not post large images. Not everyone has infinite resolution, and it makes the rest of the thread very difficult to read. If it's not important enough to type in, it's not important enough to be here.
  • Last but not least: don't call the airline!

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where fares on EI (Aer Lingus) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Aer Lingus does not offer first class. If you see this fare, please ignore it and do not post it here as it is completely unbookable in every sense of the term. The mods are summarily deleting these posts in order to unclutter the thread.

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where Z fares on EY (Etihad) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Z fares are discount business on EY. These fares will not receive chaffeur service. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/etihad-airways-etihad-guest/1622229-removal-chauffeur-service-some-business-class-passengers.html

List of known, active deals:

JNB-DXB-SFO in EK F, $4k-ish one-way
MLE-HKG-US (various) in C, $1400 +/- available only on CX's website.
CMB-MIA, other US cities, for about $4400 in F, round-trip/return

BA AARP $400 discount for J/F bookings is now valid again for booking until 31 Oct 2014 but departure to EOS seems to get the discount. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1435816-ba-fare-discounts-aarp-4.html

I see some rumblings on the interwebs that OneWorld has a much larger fare war happening to certain European destinations with sub-$2K fare. Anyone see those?

I actually haven't found those myself, but apparently they're oneworld fares to numerous European destinations.

I do see BA and OpenSkies fares to Barcelona, Madrid, and Paris that are in that range during Thanksgiving week. But I think those have been there for a while.

Yup, I am finding a number of west coast cities: Tried SEA, EUG, PDX, YKM, GEG. Strange, the smaller cities are less (something like $1015++ to MIL or $2060 A/I), a few hundred more for PDX/SEA.

to NAP was the same, to ROM, MLA or CDG was a bit more. Only found Italy and France, no Spain or Germany airports.

I am just looking at AA, was trying to find something that would route thru LAX so I can use SWUs on LAX-LHR AA metal. This fare must have some routing rule that prevents that, I'm only seeing thru SEA on BA metal. $2k for confirmed upgrade to F would work for me...

Edited to add: looks like the ex-EUG flights can easily be routed through LAX on onto AA's 77W flight to LHR.

RNO-CDG in C for $2022

3/28/15 US 564/626/786
4/8/15 AY5777(AA 49)/AA 1075

Good price since this is our school spring break period.

I bought two tickets for this itinerary @ $4044 on Orbitz. My account at AA.com shows a price of $4356. First time I’ve seen a discrepancy like this. Normal? Or worth a phone call to AA?

Wow- just looked around and see these are good thru end of schedule.

I found an awesome summer vacation with nice ex-SEA BA flights in business class for around $2k per ticket.

The AARP discount only works for departures up until 3/31 and I guess the Chase discount doesn't work for departures in 2015.

But at least I got child discounts for each of my kids, which shaved off about $290 per ticket. 2 Adults + 3 kids is coming out to an average of $1928 per ticket. BTW, I ran an ITA search w/ economy, and for same dates and cities, it's only $100 less per ticket in economy!

Also found the fares are more widespread than I had thought. Seeing them filed for BOI, RNO, SJC, PSP, LAS, SBA, OAK among others

SkyTeam is kinda/sorta matching:

SEA-BCN, SEA-MAD are showing up at just over $2k (a hair more than the OW fares). Thru EOS, so PacNWers, it's a good time to book a Europe vacation for next summer!

Edited to add: The Skyteam fares are to many places in Spain, also Mallorca, Ibiza and Canary Islands.

USA from SCANDINAVIA,FINLAND,ESTONIA,LATVIA,LITHUANIA

BUSINESS CLASS EXCURSION NONREF FARES P
Between AREA 1 and AREA 2 FOR ROUND TRIP FARES

Most US gateways with wide choice of carriers UA,AC,LH,OS,SN.

Comes out to:
~1400-1550 EUR east coast
~1800 EUR RT for the west SFO/LAX/LAS/DEN/PHX/....
~2150 EUR RT for the Hawaii which is something quite unique

I wonder how long UA P class will give 150% on TK M&S and 200% on SK EuroBonus.

Creative routes are available. Similar fares are also available on Oneworld and Skyteam carriers.

Code:
 PERMITTED 01JUL 14 THROUGH 31AUG 14 OR 22NOV 14 THROUGH
  29NOV 14 OR 21DEC 14 THROUGH 10JAN 15 OR 28MAR 15 THROUGH

For those in the SF area, it prices out the same from Oakland. E.g. OAK-PHX-LHR-LIN-LHR-PHX-OAK on Nov 15 to Dec 7th. Does mean you must fly an extra segment but decent fares from SF are rare on OW so it may entice a few.

I did a few UA P-class trips earlier this year and was always credited 150% to M&S. I hop it will stay like this indefinitely
