Subject to availability, this fare is good to the end of schedule for travel on Tues, Thurs and Sat, with peak days sometimes available for just a few bucks more. You can actually get it all in for about $154 on some connections.

It's probably not a true mileage run fare, but given the direction fares have been heading, it's a great travel opportunity.

EDIT:

Ita is now showing a $151 all in fare for Tues, Wed, and Sat through end of schedule. Farecompare says it's currently the cheapest airfare you can buy from NYC to anywhere, so I'd say it's a pretty good deal.

For folks looking to position from NYC to IAH for Star Mega Do 2 this is a great fare, especially with the Wednesday validity!

So what did Continental do to piss off Delta?

Should we be looking out for ATL-SLC deals on CO soon?

I would definitely be watching the flights between DL hubs for CO deals if you think you could use them!

For record-keeping's sake, I see
$214.00 r-t
+ $35.30 Taxes/Fees = $249.30
for EWR-IAH Nov 7-11.

I wonder if DL is specifically targeting StarMegaDO2 folk.

Looks like this one is coming back...just popped up on FC. Give it a bit to hit the systems... It is a T fare so avail might be spotty to nonexistant.

Nice catch: Dawn of the Dead (Fare).

I actually see pretty good availability, at least when I looked at mid-June. In this summer of really high airfares, this is a nice exception.
