Kuwait Tourist Visa - Cost?

I'm a U.S. citizen and may be interested in visiting Kuwait for one day as a tourist. What is the cost of the visa issued on arrival?

Thanks......

Free visa on arrival for US passports. Check out https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Kuwait.

No unfortunately its not free, unless it has changed in the last few years.
The guidelines are at https://www.dgca.gov.kw/en/traveller.../visa-services

There is the regular visa desk and the VIP. I don't remember the actual cost but I think it was 5KD regular and 10KD VIP.

If I recall it is free, though these things change round here like the seasons.

The US State Dept provides the following:
Tourist visas are required for U.S. citizens traveling to Kuwait and can be obtained free of charge at the airport. Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Kuwait; otherwise, you may be denied entry.

I traveled there last October and entered on my US passport instead of my Swedish because the entry fee was a bit lower (3KD instead of 5 or so.)
