BUFFALO NY -- 6:00 A.M. flight on a Saturday
I'm flying DL 1421 BUF to JFK Sat 27 Jun 2015 departing at 5:55 AM.
Is 4:30 AM to early to be in the airport (before proceeding to security check)?

I live near Buffalo and fly out of BUF all the time. Sometimes queues can get long, depends on if you have premium check in or not. 4:30am is about the time I would arrive, the terminal itself is extremely small.

Do you have bags to check in?
Are you checked in online?
I would not arrive more than 4:50 if had bags/not checked in, and if no bags, around 5:15, even though it is busy time at BUF, its not that bad.
If driving across, at that time, no border issues.

I'll only have carry-on and hope to have checked-in on-line. I will be staying the night at Red Roof and will park in the economy lot. Trying to get a coupe extra hours of rest before flight. Otherwise I would have to leave Toronto where I leave at around 2 a.m.
