Maybe PP will finally mean something. Let's see what 200+ nights a year gets me now

Taking away the guaranteed bed type would be a huge loss for Gold.

This does look like a devaluation for most SPG Platinums too.

Per gleff's blog post, this seems to be a 3 year old document.

"Marriott Rewards 2.0 was a project launched circa 2014. In summer 2014 there was an internal video about it.

LinkedIn references show it as a circa 2014 technical project, that the JW Marriott Seoul was a pilot property at the time and the Singapore Marriott also."

I'm very excited about the handwritten note card from the GM in lieu of the PLT upgrade!

So how's that been working for you since the document is from 2014?

Cheers.

Every time I booked a room at a Marriott property I wondered if they can be serious. If I'm travelling with someone I have an exact idea about what bed type (two beds or one bed) is appropriate or not appropriate.

Am I the only one who'd be upset getting one bed when I need two?

HTB.

I can recall getting a note maybe twice since 1999 and thousands of night, none since 2014 so I'd say "not well".

I can recall getting more handwritten notes when staying at TPS rather than at JWs.
