Hello everyone,
Marriott is launching a new hotel program called “Accolades” December 1st, 2015. This new program offers special amenities for your clients and a concierge desk for you to call for help with reservations, waiver, favors, etc… See attached for more details.

Right now not all of the properties are enrolled into the program, you can find a list of the ones that are on the attachment flyer. More properties will be added at later dates.

For questions and/or help with the program see below for contact information and timelines.

NOVEMBER 1st – our dedicated Accolades Administrator will be on staff and the e-mail will be active! We welcome Lindsey Meeks (formerly Winter) from the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. As a former Guardian Angel – she knows many of your agents and is looking forward to helping us launch the program. She is here to provide service to our Accolades agencies for anything the Concierge Desk can’t assist with. Whether training or non-Accolades property support – she is your extra layer of support and is ready to start assisting Monday!

E-mail: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX– THIS IS NEW – make sure you send the attached updated flyer to your agents.

NOVEMBER 15th – The ACCOLADES CONCIERGE DESK goes live! We are sorry for the 2 week delay – but you get Lindsey to help in the interim! The desk will be able to assist with special requests for all of the Accolades properties and will be open 24-7. This is your waiver and favor desk for all of the Accolades properties.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DECEMBER 1st – The first check-in date – from this date on – all of your guests staying at the Accolades participating properties will begin to receive benefits. The bad news – this is late. The good news – this date WILL NOT move – Training has started this is it – truly official – and we will work with properties to ensure your guests are recognized if you have someone special checking in earlier – just reach out to the Accolades Admin.

We will start sending out weekly communications on updates, property overviews and other special news on the 9th of November. Please make sure we have the e-mail address of who should receive this to share with agents. Also – we will also start sending out example amenities –a weekly fun item to help engage your agents – please let us know where these should be sent. Finally – We will have stays to give away for the participating properties. Let the Accolades Admin/Lindsey know if there are any rules in your agency around how incentives are managed. We would like to tie it to a raffle each week for bookings made in the week. We can confirm the agency and confirmation number – to draw from – but will need your help confirming the agent after that. Please let us know if that will work. We will work with you to tailor the incentive to your agency.

Thank you again for your support of Accolades and we look forward to working with you to make this a successful program!

Best Regards,

CXXXXXXXXX

You (or elite members in general) do. But these benefits are applicable on all bookings for everyone who books through preferred travel partners.

Great. So Marriott is going to attempt to deliver benefits to a larger group of people that they really don't do that great a job delivering to a smaller group now. Like upgrades, late checkouts, etc. ? Fabulous.

From the OP's OP:

"(similar to Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Peninsula Pen Club, Mandarin Fan Club, SPG's Luxury Privileges, etc)"

Given those partners, my guess is Marriott is going after the high rollers & not just the every day Marriott folk And it's limited in properties but also properties that might attract more high rollers. And right now looks like it's only int'l/Europe.

I'm not that bent out of shape on this, but that's just me.

Cheers.

I'm not bent out of shape so much as wondering if they can actually deliver. Especially the "availability dependent" stuff.
