$500 VGC and MGC at OfficeMax
It seems that OfficeMax has started to carry $500 visa and master gift cards based on the Doctor of Credit blog post. That's huge improvement in MS after recent Redbird shutdown. I will go tomorrow morning to local OM store to see if I can get it. Happy MSing UR points for 0.235 cents/point.

I don't know how different these are from the ones sold at OD being they are a combined company. But the ones I saw recently at OD still has a big sign that says "cash only" on the $500 variables.

+1. I'm as perplexed as you are. I don't know why these are getting new press as they have always been cash only where I live, unless it just changed in the last day or so.

oD always had the variables, but not OM. couple month ago my OM got a batch of variables, and I tried to buy them,but the computer system did not have the SKU.
I guess they have complete adding the SKU after the merger. If I have to guess, it will be a few days, weeks or month before they all go cash only at OM stores too.

Meh - no $20-500 cards here at the Max in Coral Gables. And the ones that live in OD are cash only. Another unicorn sighting. Might as well be searching for honesty in the house of Clinton!

It currently appears very limited to certain regions. Very few success reports. These are not being widely stocked at this time, but just a few reports in some western states with stock. Big bummer for Midwest, south and northeast.

No unicorns here, just the real deal... and not a bummer for midwest as thats where they were found. Yes, with a cc altho' a 2k limit/per day and only one transaction allowed/no split payment.

MC doesn't ring up correctly. I was going to buy 2 but after the debacle with the first I thought there was a decent chance it might not have loaded correctly.
