Turns out you also can't use gift cards from Blackhawk (retailed at Jewel and Staples or online at GCM). They ring as credit, all you get for your effort is nice little "CARD SWIPED" message but no option to enter a PIN.

Split payments like a bauss. I've been limiting it to 3 swipes, plus the fee in cash so far. Their max MO is $500 for 65c. I've been slowing increasing my MOs from them. Started out at 1 or 2 at a time, now getting 3 at a time. I don't like to hold up the line so I don't do more than 1 transaction per visit. But there are plenty of stores in my area and it's easy to hit one or more on my way home from work, etc.

Does it auto drain or do you have to tell them you're using multiple cards?

I have not attempted an auto drain although I suspect it might work. I have always told the cashier the amount I am swiping for each card.

what a nightmare.
2nd time to try 2 MOs in 1 transaction and it wouldn't take my 2nd card. It would immediately error out after I swipe the 2nd card and somehow the computer froze.
when I checked my 1st GC, it was already debited, but somehow, their system wasn't showing it. The supervisor was kind enough to issue me the a $500 MO.
