SIN back to back turn around possible?
Is MH601 (arriving SIN 9:05) to MH604 (departing SIN 9:55) turn around with MH at SIN possible?
1. flight number doesn't suggest same airplane, does this pare always run with the same airplane?
2. Is MH online-check-in self print boarding pass enough for departing at SIN?

2. Yes. Even the mobile boarding pass will be sufficient too.

Though usually possible with self-generated boarding passes, MH is having IT integration issues (of pax passport data) that prevent boarding passes generating - although you MAY check-in online. Believe this may only be resolved by Sept.
So during this period, you may end up arriving into SIN without a boarding pass and may need run to the airside transfer desk to generate a boarding pass, but I'm not sure if there is a cut off time to generate one before the flight departs.
You can only get the same day return (SIN-KUL) boarding pass from chk-in desks at KUL if on same ticket and you may not get same ticket turnaround on same plane. Maybe you could see if you can purchase a ticket with a couple of hours in transit at SIN.

It's actually part of my flight as I will be flying SYD-KUL-SIN-KUL-BKK, I would like to minimise the time at SIN so I could catch an early flight to BKK (MH788 departs at 12:20). If i have a luggage, is it possible to let the agent at SYD to check in only SYD-KUL-BKK? SYD-KUL one ticket, KUL-SIN one ticket, SIN-KUL-BKK one ticket. all business class.
That I'm thinking is that I might be able to get all boarding passes at SYD and as long as it's always the same aircraft for 601/604, it means I would need to worry about 601 being delayed.

I generated OL BP for the following flights these past 48 hours
- jhb-kul
- kul - jhb
- kul - tpe
- tpe - kul
but I couldn't generate one for kul - hkg... not sure why...
btw if you have checked in online, you can get gate staff to generate a BP for you... but this may be a little more tricky in SIN as they have security just before the gate and it may be harder to get the gate staff's attention

I've been able to generate mobile boarding passes for flights from SIN, but the guards just before immigration only accept printed boarding cards for MAS flights (they send passengers back to the check-in desks to pick them up). For an airside transfer, I'm not sure whether the gates will accept mobile passes.

The ideal way will be to check through all sectors, but there is a high chance that the checked luggage may get delayed somewhere due to the short SIN turnaround.
Otherwise, you could check your bag on the SYD-KUL sector, upon arrival, clear immigration and customs and find a left baggage facility. Upon landing from 604, reclear immigration and customs and pick up your left luggage to check in to your BKK flight.

You can put your bags in stored luggage.. but you must allow at least 3-4 hours given the situation at KLIA immigration these days (both arriving and departing) AND that the stored luggage facility is somewhat difficult to get to.
My suggestion is to depart on a later flight from SIN. Immigration queues are shorter here.

If you check bags in this case, SYD will not be able to tag your bag SYD-KUL-BKK as your bags must follow the routing of your ticket. Which means, from SYD, it can only be checked to KUL. Or SIN with your connecting ticket. But at SIN, the connection back to KUL is too soon..AND besides you are not allowed to check your bags through the same airport TWICE on the same baggage label.

We are looking at catching MH788 to BKK depart 12:20 and arrive 13:25. The next flight MH782 depart 15:10. So we would like to try to avoid catching MH782..
For checked luggage, this gets a little tricky. Since you're on 3 separate tickets, this may be a bane or a blessing, depends how you look at it.

I have SYD-KUL (Z) and KUL-SIN (J fully flexible) booked.
Need to go back to SYD after BKK trip, so I could either book SIN-KUL-BKK return (which made SIN-KUL-BKK one ticket) or I could book KUL-BKK, and use SIN-KUL as the first leg to SYD (part of SIN-KUL-SYD) so they will be separate tickets.
Are there any port near KUL provides good flexible fare to SYD? SIN normally have D fare for S$2200
