I have been ignoring all this Beta stuff. Yesterday I received an email asking me for permission to put my reviews somewhere or other. Why is FlyerTalk intent on changing something that works perfectly well? I will continue to ignore this and if I find I can no longer post, then I will no longer take part in FlyerTalk, which would be sad.

While I happily gave permission for them to do whatever they want with my hotel reviews, I'm going to wait and see how it goes before posting in a new format. No point in judging a beta.

But I will say that no amount of glitz and glam can replace good creative writing.

Is there a way to "Tag" a thread with the HOTEL REVIEW moniker, without click "respond with review"?

For instance, see the Grand Bordeaux thread.

I know. What I'm wondering is, can a thread be tagged with "Hotel Review" even if the reviewer didn't click "respond with review"?

its an integrated system, the "format" is how reviews that are part of the system appear, and the "tag" is another part of system, as opposed to tagging a thread itself.

That is correct. Javascript is required for Hotel Reviews to function.

Were you able to post your review?

EDIT: The message you got was unrelated to the review format. What you posted was caught in our spam alert filter and added to the moderator queue, where it was then approved. Posting the same content on FT in any format would have the same result.
