Last Minute Holiday Trip

We usually schedule our trips for the last week in December quite fare in advance, but due to a bunch of variables, we are not sure where/if we will be able to travel. Are there anywhere in the world that nice resorts aren't sold out that week? Would love a nice beach resort in Hawaii, Bora Bora or maybe even some of the Amans in Indonesia

Last evening I went to 100 Degree restaurant at Fairfax Mall. Its the No.1 Chinese cuisine in north VA where you can explore and enjoy. The menu was Oriental. The duck was very crispy and salt and pepper shrimp tasted very good. The rice noodles and vegetables were standard dishes but tasted very good. Simply the food is good in reasonable price.

I went to Zighy Bay in Oman last year - was a great resort with 1/2/3 bedroom villas with private pools (not huge but great for a dip).

Food was spot on - booze is a bit pricey so buy a bottle at duty free

The resort is 2 hours drive from Dubai Intl so bear in mind it does take a while until you reach paradise. You will then be greeted by your very own personal butler.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa (similar to a detached house) at no extra charge.
