LOT wet lease 772 on JFK route

Since earlier this week LOT is using old 772 (EC_MIA, ex Asiana) wet-leased from Prestige Airlines a charter company in Mallorca, Spain.

Business class is older style angled flat seat with 5 seats in a row.
Economy 9 abreast.
AFAIK no economy plus.

Affected fights LO26 / LO27

Interesting. Looks like Franek is out of service for inspection (przegląd).

I can just imagine those lucky passengers and their happy faces.

[I'm off to New York on Monday and funnily enough the tea-time service was amongst the options offered by the corporate travel agent, I went for AF eventually]

Well the PE pax lucked out and those in Y might actually be better off. 9 abreast in a 787 is no picnic and they at least don't have to suffer the unmitigated horrors of 10 across in a 777.

Think I'd still take the greater cabin pressure and better windows of the 787 though.

True! I was mainly referring to the high spenders sitting at the front, though

Pozdrawiam,

The airline is called Privilege Style, and they specialise in such wet-leases. EL AL uses them a lot...

Hard to shed a tear for them ;-).
Now if they send it ORD from where I have a award then we'll have an issue...

Well, it looked nice na żywo But, in the worst case scenario, a few shots of Żubrówka Biała (do they stock it on board?) and you'll be sound!

It looks more like an old USAir livery.
