I stand corrected. Very likely spending way too much time on planes, jet lag combined with lack of oxygene degrading my math skills...

Why!!?? I consider M&M these days a competitive program in terms of benefits and redemption possibilities even when you compare it with BAEC.

With the current UFO strike, a lot of us should expect couple of thousands of bonus HON miles into our accounts before the end of the year as a gesture of good will from LH management

Are these status miles or only award miles?

They were status/HON miles and totally useless except for those qualifying for HON or who missed re-qualification to SEN or FTL by a small number of miles. HON received 30k miles, SEN 10k miles and FTL 3k miles.

Only LH knows. I would not bet on it. As a matter of the fact, I just did little train trip to get few remaining points I needed this past weekend.

Probably YES. The one week strike has created a lot of mess for LH passengers and many of them flew on other airlines and LH wants to make sure that they will keep flying on LH after trying other airlines hard products @:-)

For me this is the end with LH. After 12y being SEN, dropping to FTL and am not putting any more flights to M&M. BAEC,VS and A3 Gold.
Occasionally miss LH ground services when flying BA, but VS lounges fixes that
