LO Z Sale YYZ-WAW: What to expect?

I'm wondering if it would be OK to book a YYZ-WAW//-GDN//-WAW-YYZ r/t for 2100 CAD ai.

I have heard very opposing views on LO - most of them unfounded & uninformed, IMHO.

I'd like to hear from some "pros" who ply the air in these aircraft often (or have done so recently).

Is LO C worse than LH C?

I know to avoid SP-LPG, YYZ-WAW doesn't seem to be too bad with that bird, and I'll make sure that the seat map has 3 rows in C.

Any comments welcome and appreciated. ^

I wouldn't pay more to fly on LH's angled lie-flat then on LO's.

Thank you, that's a good start.

Any other comments?

I have flown LO C (both old and new) a few times a few years ago and so did some family members.
The new C seats are fine. I would compare them to the angled seats on LH. I don't see really any difference than LH C seats and LO C seats. AVOD is a personal player which is fine for me. Food wasn't anything special (but I don't see LH C food as something excellent either) They had a decent choice of wines and drinks on-board. The crew is what people I know complain about. Usually their is a nice crew. The times I flew I had a excellent crew which did a great job. When a family member though flew, they complained that the crew was just awful. But I guess that can happen with any airline, in any cabin.

Check the operating carrier - there is a chance that you will be flying on Aerosvit (Ukrainian Airlines) metal that came to Aerosvit from Royal Brunei LO has only 4 B767 aircraft in fleet plus this one leased from Aerosvit. I am not sure how bad Business Class on the Aerosvit aircraft is... Aerosvit bird cannot be used on the USA flights (no permission from US authorities), so is used on YYZ flights quite frequently.

VV 763 made overall 8 rotations. I wouldn't say it's frequently. I've flown those bird in January - C product is quite ok. 2-1-2 config makes it pretty comfy.

Yes, I checked the PR and it was only leased until the end of January.
I was looking online at the schedule for SP-LPG and it seems that it will be used for the PEK flights. I hope LO will stay true to this plan!

I have an admittedly dated trip report of a LO C WAW-ORD flight experience, in the new C.

Ha! What a find! Based on your post I just had my mother rebook her flight and save a sweet one grand. Dzięki!

P.S. LO C is fine, and not much different from LH C. I find food and wine on LH C a bit better, but service more attentive on LO C (LO generally has a much smaller C cabin). I personally don't like LO C seats for overnight flights too much, but that's because I am fairly tall and the headrest seems to somehow conflict with my sleeping position. My travel companions never complained. Naturally, nothing beats a flat bed, and neither LH nor LO offer this in C yet.

I flew ewr-waw-mxp on 2/20 and back 2/28
C class is OK, no flat beds but the seats were comfortable enough. On the return flight C class was pretty empty.
Flight attendants were very attentive and food good also at the Lounge in Warsaw.
The only disappointment was the entertaining system. It is bulky and only with a 4 movies selection.
Great value for the price. I have paid $ 2,300 instead of $ 5,000 on CO or AA

unfortunately trip report is in Polish, but google translate works quite well.

PS. VV is loaded from end of April as wet-lease and will operate to YYZ quite frequently.

Looks better than LO metal C, actually.

Yeah! At least if someone gets plane swapped, it won't be the old LO C
