LANPASS points earned with a QANTAS booking

Hi everyone,

I am trying to determine the number of km I would receive on my LANPASS if I were to attach my LAN membership number to a flight booked with Qantas (SYDNEY-SANTIAGO).

The only information I could find was for the amount of Qantas FF points which would be earned when flying LAN - and this varied from 0.25 (super saver) to 1 for each km.

Does the same apply in reverse?

Thanks

The same does not necessarily apply in reverse. Each FFP is different
What booking fare class? (not cabin)
With Oneworld the marketing carrier (flight number) determines earnings, if an eligible operating airline. [QF to LA is OK]. Not the operating carrier or who you buy the ticket from.

(these may not be correct)

[mod hat] Welcome to FT, pibe10! As your question is about the LANPASS, I will move it over to the right forum. [/mod hat]

Hi pibe10.
As per Lan's site, you will earn AT LEAST 100% for flying on a Qantas ticket.

LatamPass when flying on a Qantas ticket:
Type of Service Fares that allow you to earn KMS How many do you earn?
First (F, A)
150%

Business (J, C, D, I)
125%

Premium Economy (W, T, R)
110%

Economy (Y, B, G, H, K, L, M, N, O, Q, S, V)
100%

As Mwenenzi pointed out, your TICKETING CARRIER is what matters. So you can fly Lan metal on a QF discount economy ticket & earn 100%, whilst if you flew the same Lan flight on a Lan BASE ticket you'd only get 50%!
