Carryon limit in domestic Y with J Int'l connection?

Carryon limit in domestic Y with J Int'l connection?
I'm flying CUZ-LIM-USA in a couple of days with the first segment in Y and the second one in J. Will I have the 8 or 16kg limit for the CUZ-LIM-USA segment? Thanks!

LATAM rules for 100% LA/LP/4M/XL/4C/JJ travel state that if the itinerary contains segments with different checked and carry-on baggage allowance, the most permissive one applies throughout the whole itinerary
In this case you'd get the allowance for J which is 16kg carry-on plus 3PC checked IIRC
