I doubt it. When is the last time you actually tried this? Even in the 1990s they would put some kind of UV marker on the bums so they couldn't give blood twice in a short period of time. I guess I haven't asked anyone lately but surely in 2010 we have 1990s technology to stop bums from being completely drained of their blood? However, it's said if you give blood, then your free adult beverage will be that much more powerful.

Actually, people watching is the main event on The Strip.
However, on my website I have a section called Cheap Thrills with things to do when you are on a budget, or just want to kill some time and not gamble or eat.
Still - bored in Las Vegas?!
I don't hear this complaint a lot.
Well - yes, I do - I teach at a college and from my students who are not yet 21, I have to admit, there isn't a whole lot for them to do.
But for a tourist over 21?
Exactly how jaded do you have to be to be bored in Vegas - as I said, just park your butt somewhere and watch what walks by - that alone is more entertaining than most movies in your local cineplex.

I work in downtown a couple of blocks from Gold & Silver Pawn, and lately there have been lines out the door at all times of the day. On occasion there's even a police officer around to keep order. I'm not sure how long it takes to get inside once you're in line, but the line is rarely more than 30 people.

Look forward to meeting you at a future locals event, falconred.

Seconded - it's a short cab ride or a longg walk from the Strip though.

Go to the M&M store and by a key chain with logo emblazened in bright red and blue.
Go to the Bass Store and ogle at all the new lures.
Go to the Million Dollar Mall and get a tatoo.
