LAN South American Airpass is no longer available

Title says it all. As seen on from LAN FB "LAN South American Airpass is no longer available on our website or Contact Center."

I'm planning a trip to South America end of this year. Any idea if they are going to revamp the Airpass?

Update: " the AirPass is no longer available on lan.com, and there are no plans for it to return in the near future. However, we further looked into it given that you are interested in the product, and our team advised the South American AirPass is still available through your US local travel agency. Please let us know if you have any further inquiries. Regards."

Does this mean "any" travel agency (not specifically a US agency), likewise, is the AA RTW desk an agency as such?

Ha.

I called LAN today (from Australia - call gets routed to Sth America .. or the US?)

Call quality terrible. In order to tell me the T&Cs of their LAN Pass, they wanted an itinerary! I gave up the first time, but later invented an itinerary and I got a very disjointed reply, mostly useless.

The TA will have to work this one out.
