How do I get LAN fares to price
I found an "I" fare of US $903 GYE-NYC
But how do I get LAN.com to price it?
Here is the info for those of you who are far more tech-savvy than I!

I think the straight answer is that you have to go to a super good travel agent who knows more than us. mau mau
If you use lan.com you hit the Amadeus system, exactly do the lan agents at first crack. You have to push them to go to their Mundo Lan System and then maybe it is possible...
I asked today if she could search by fare code and she said no only by fare...
let's push more on this to try to get answer...

EF says call a travel agent or contact the airline directly. I did the latter and guess how that turned out 
----- he (the LAN agent) was more clueless than I am! He did say that the fuel surcharge is $184 each way but that doesn't account for the huge rise in prices of which he feigned (or just exposed his) complete ignorance.

No --- I think that's a fare from LIM
They quoted me $451 each way but I could never get it to ticket that way. It's a mystery to me!

and after you have checked the "validate fares" box...
Plash I should mention that through your struggles yesterday, the Lan Peru site was giving and selling the 1291 price sin problema... but what happened to your plan to wait til late Monday morning? that sounded wise...

I'm not very good at waiting! 
The question is do we think that $1271 or $1606 are good BASE fares for GYE-JFK-GYE and LIM-JFK-LIM respectively or are they botc\h about $200 more than they have been (I know the GYE is --- LIM I am not sure).

Lots of dates.. anything leaving on enero 21-22, but also tested abril tambien... using Peru site

They are definitely falling. I am re-booking (with a $200 re-booking fine), my flight to EZE because fares have dropped dramatically. Previously I had to fly through SCL at depressing times. Now I will be able to go direct at civilized hours. It is a crap shoot with LAN how far ahead to purchase tickets.
