Also just got my settlement check. Wonder how the coupon code auction will work. Has anybody been through one of those before?

So apparently the company facilitating the coupons and auction is paying 25% value directly if one chooses to forego the auction process. This seems like a pittance, but then again I have no idea how much these will go for at the auction.

Help with transferring coupons FAIRLY
I also received a korean air 491.01 coupon and a 188.85 Asiana coupon, waws told that 25% is what they were offering and thought it would be less after auction. My question, what kind of auction expects 25% face value or less? Does anyone know of a way to transfer these coupons at a fair rate. T^Thank you for any advice.

I have posted a thread on the Korean/Asiana codes in Flyertalk Coupon Connection where Flyertalkes can trade among each other and bypass the CCC website exchange.
Note: A couple of FT members have asked me about Coupon Connection. Access to which is granted once you have achieved 180 posts and 180 days as a member.

Unless I'm missing something, it seems like the coupons can only be transferred directly to those people who already originally received coupons from the settlement and have accounts on the coupon website. There doesn't seem to be an option to transfer to someone who doesn't have an account (even though it does say freely transferable to friends/family). Transferring on the coupon websites requires the user ID of the person you want to transfer the coupon to. There doesn't seem to be an option to just create an account (there used to be when the site first opened up).
Otherwise, to be redeemed by friend/family it has to be done by the original coupon holder with a travel authorization form from the passenger that needs to be emailed to the site administrator.
So selling on ebay/transferring may not work unless the person buying/receiving the transfer already has an account...
