Jetblue finally added a NYC code so you can see all nyc area airports at once.

jetBlue did have a NYC (Metro Area) code before but for some reason it went away. It is good to have it back! It looks like jetBlue added metro area codes more than just NYC:

NYC - NY Metro Area
WAS - Washington D.C. Area
ZLA - Los Angeles Metro Area

As long as they don't start doing what WN does by including MHT and PVD in the "Boston Area".

Might as well mention that they also added a "South Florida area (XFL)" code, which seems to cover PBI and FLL. ^

Not too long ago I had to run 6 separate searches for EWR/JFK/LGA - PBI/FLL in each direction. It was hardly worth the hassle so many times I didn't even look on JetBlue. Sometimes Kayak would work. But now it's much easier.

They do include PVD. There are a few other regional codes, too, including XDR covering the southern coast of the Dominican Republic (LRM & SDQ).

FYI, there appear to be 7 regional codes now available:
  • NYC – JFK, EWR, LGA, HPN & SWF
  • XBO – BOS & PVD
  • ZLA – LAX, LGB & BUR
  • XSF – OAK & SFO
  • XFL – FLL & PBI
  • WAS – IAD, DCA & BWI
  • XDR – LRM & SDQ

SWF is stretch to call NYC.

The rest seem pretty reasonable.
