JL F inventory buckets
Question about normal F inventory release.
Results from ExpertFlyer.com
In these results, I see that F and A are F buckets. Normally, I'm used to seeing the higher fare class (which I assume to be F in this case) have at least as much availability as any lower fare class, if not more. So I was a little surprised to see across the board that there was more A availability than F. Is there some information I'm missing?

The inventory numbers are missing in the OP. I saw F5 A5 C9 J9 D9 X9 I9 Y9 W9 E9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N9 Q9 O9 G9 for JL001. I believe you were referring to the JL7542 and JL7544 domestic codeshare operated by AA?

Did you scroll right in the box? The inventory (which I limited to F and A only) is hidden without scrolling. I'm specifically interested in JL1, but included the other flights because they all show F2A4. What POS/source are you using for your search?

I was using UK. Yes, JAL inventory is POS sensitive. US POS will result in whatever you were seeing.

But it could also caused by syncing lag if the GDS used are different. Not sure which one EF uses but I occasionally run into inventory problems like that when I use JTB/HIS/IACE to book my tickets.

That could be one explanation. I was once told that JAL inventory is highly POS sensitive. So EF (and KVS) is kind of useless for me when I have to book ex-HKG tickets.
