Thanks, nicolas75. Is there hotel just the lower floors of the building, with condos in the upper floors?

Meet for a MiniDO?

Actually, I have no idea (but the suite is on the ground floor - from the lobby - which is the first floor from the pool area)

Hi Nicolas. How was your stay here? What room did you book to receive the suite? Was club access complimentary, and how was the mini-bar? I'm here in September for 8 nights, it looks amazing!

My stay was just great!

Service is excellent, property is very nice indeed (superb suite, very nice interior design, pleasant outdoor and indoor pool). Location is convenient (easy access to the beach, train station opposite the hotel, Hertz rent a car agency next to the hotel). I came with Uber from LIS airport and it costed only EUR28.

I booked room with points and was upgraded to an Ocean View Suite with club access (but I was told that policy is to charge club access when a club room is not booked).

Club costs EUR 90 a day, which seems very high. I had a drink (Diet Coke ) in the evening and some canapés (I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot speak of it at the club lounge or at the restaurant).

Minibar is reduced to the very minimum (soft drinks only, which is fine to me) and is free - if I have understood well - for all guests (everything which would be ordered from the minibar list will be charged).

Thanks, Nicolas! Glad you enjoyed it. Nice upgrade on an award stay too. I've already negotiated an upgrade from classic room to club room with club access included, and hopefully, I might get your suite.
Not too keen on these "free for everyone" mini-bars, which probably suits you and your Diet Cokes , but feels like a bit of a cheat for RA's who enjoy a "proper" drink!

The reason why I am so nervous at IC Porto: they do not even Diet Coke in the minabar
