Has anyone else had this offer in the latest promotion? If so has it been completed.


I have used my IHG card at least 5 times to book and pay for a hotel, Still nothing.

I have emailed IHG but they just keep telling me to wait

The main page says 2300 points, But the smaller writing says 1500 points.

Also i have noticed in the terms it says:

"Number of bonus points listed above will be awarded when you use your IHG® Rewards Club Premium Visa® to purchase the number of Qualifying Stays as listed between 1 January 2015 and 30 April 2015"

But now i am wandering how many qualifying stays they actually mean

I had this one and your terms match mine to the letter. It is only one stay, however it was a little bizarre.

I received an email saying that I had achieved the task but it never posted to the dashboard until about a fortnight after I received the email. After it posted to the dashboard it was the standard ten days or so to post to my account.

The reason I inquired is because I finished my ITN promotion very late and I had this task for the SYS promotion.

However, I have yet to stay at an IHG for SYS and yet my SYS dashboard for this very task shows that it is completed. The completion date shows during the current promotion even though it actually was completed during ITN -- this says to me that at the very least, it is when the bill appears on your credit card statement -- and perhaps only when that charge actually shows as paid, so there could be a fairly long lag time for the dashboard to actually show as completed.

I will note, however, that unlike apparently some of you, I have yet to receive points from this dashboard bonus -- I simply concluded that at the end of the current promotion they would be added to my account like last time.

I am not worried that I will ultimately see these bonus points for although I have no intention of completing all of my SYS tasks, I do intend to complete one of them wherein I will use my IHG MC, thus earning me the bonus during the actual time-frame of the current promotion.

However, given my premature crediting of this task in the current promotion from what was a stay during the last promotion, I have concluded that unlike other tasks, this one might involve a potentially considerable time delay.

I have the same issue - paid with IHG card at Crowne Plaza Antalya Turkey. The Globe Trotter bonus posted together wth stay credit but the 1500 pts using IHG card is a no show. I thought it was the issue because the charge was from the Franchisee's name, not the name of Crowne Plaza hence I also miss the 4x bonus from Chase. I called Chase which the rep reluctantly sent a request to the marketing to manually post the 4x which do not amount to much as the total bill is about $65.

I sent a missing bonus pts message on this 10 days ago. Got a reply a few days later saying the request was forwarded to the project coordinator to review. That was March 19. Haven't heard anything back so I followed up yesterday. No response yet.

My IHG stay with a credit card posted quickly for an HIX...and, the stay was actually on my spouses IHG number not mine. It was the only thing on my dashboard for over a month.

No idea whether it is caused by Chase not sending the correct info because it is not billed in Crowne Plaza name or IHG actually knows I have used IHG card to pay for the CP stay but just because of dashboard updating issue... That the latter does not seem true because the Globe Trotter bonus posted promptly the moment the stay posted.

Then I got TWO not just one, IHG Surveys on how the agent was doing, as if I made a phone call... what an idiotic IT programming.

Very happy with both ITN and SYS everything posted correctly and quickly. Points for finishing SYS were in my account 4 days after the final stay I needed. Maybe I just got lucky but it worked well for me.

Still no resolution on the non-posting 1500 bonus pts for using IHG card to pay for IHG stay.

Was told by phone rep that it would be 2 to 3 weeks after check out. Well, I asked him to use a calculator, today is 30th, the stay was 8th - 21 days have just passed and still not points. He said it was generated by system automatically and nothing he could do now however if still not posting by next week, call back.

So are we expecting to get new promos starting tomorrow? I have a few possible bookings for the next quarter and have been waiting to group them...if I make any of the bookings before being sent my offers will they still count for the relevant quarter I stay in (ie quarter 2)?

Very doubtful you will get anything tomorrow as the current promotion still has a month to run.
