Using the RA referral certificate would upgrade your status for the remainder of your current Ambassador membership. It would expire September 2014.

If you use an RA Referral whilst you already are Ambassador, then you are given RA only until end of your current Ambassador year, whether that is 3months, 6months, 12months.
