Just returned from Canadian trip and stayed at 3 HIs in Kamploop, BC (1 nt), Canmore, AB (3 nts) and Hinton, AB (2 nts). They were all award stays.

Kamploop, BC (15K PC pts)

* Overnighted on the way to the Banff
* Nicely refurbished rooms and lobby
* Good internet speed (both wired and wireless available)
* Good room size
* Excellent stay with good value for the pts (best rate was ~$130)
* Received 2 bottles of water and snacks as PC welcome amenity

Bad
* Only one elevator

Canmore, AB (15K PC pts)
* Short drive from Banff (15 min)
* Room was refurbished but hints of old smell (?) remains
* Received 2 bottles of water and snacks as PC welcome amenity
* Good stay with excellent value for the pts (best rate was $160-$170)

Bad
* No swimming pool
* Only wireless available

Hinton, AB (20K pts)
* 45 mins from Jasper (not a good location for Jasper)
* Received pet room first night and move to different room second night
* Some rooms have both wired and wireless internet, some only have wireless
* Received 1 bottle of water and snack as PC welcome amenity
* Ended up leaving a day early
* So-so stay and OK value for the pts (best rate was $125)

Bad
* Small rooms and bathrooms
* No elevator
