Int'l-int'l transit in BLR?
I am considering flying into and out of BLR on separate international tickets. I would fly in on SQ502 and out on SQ503 -- so ostensibly the same aircraft -- with a 70 minute transit time. The int'l-int'l MCT at BLR is 60 minutes.
Is the process relatively straightforward? Can I simply pass through transit security and then return to my gate to board? Would I be able to check in for both flights at SIN or must I go to a transfer desk? Most importantly, I need a visa to enter India, but would I need a visa of some kind for an int'l-int'l transit?
I've seen reports on transiting BOM and DEL, but none of BLR, so I would appreciate any advice. (There is this old thread asking a similar question, but no advice was given.) Thanks!

you don't need a visa for a transfer like this....do you have any checked baggage????i think it would be important to ask sq if then can through check you in till your final destination....

It's doable, but it won't be pleasant. There are all kinds of inane security procedures in place.
You'll have to somehow get ahold of an SQ rep (staffing at transfer desk is usually bad), get your boarding pass printed, get D/T (direct transit) written/stamped on the pass, go through security again, and then board. In 70 minutes, that's tight.
